Thank you for coming!

The 9th annual Chicago Festival of Bosnian & Herzegovinian Film wrapped up with a bang this year. Our festival’s very own Muamer Celik premiered his hardly finished short film “Toy Car” and everyone loved it!

This year, we laughed at Zizi telling us his crazy stories of how he proposed to his wife and beat a billiards champion. We cried during our adventure with Oggi in Finding Family when he first spoke to his mother in over 20 years. We shared stories of isolation and discrimination during our panel discussion on identity with artists and filmmakers Harun Mehmedinovic and Igor Drljaca.

From all of our volunteer staff, we would like to thank you for coming and supporting the Chicago Festival of Bosnian & Herzegovinian Film. We had a blast and hope you did too!

We look forward to seeing you again for our 10th anniversary in 2015.
